Turtle Lodge Roundtable

The Turtle Lodge, north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, held the 1st International Roundtable Supporting Ancient Indigenous Knowledge, co-hosted by David Courchene (Anishnabe Nation) and US Congressman Dennis Kucinich, May 14-17, 2010.

An invited delegate, Raffi spoke in honour of children, and invited the gathered to support the Centre's Sign the Plea campaign. Raffi's song, "First Peoples", was a big hit with all who attended this memorable gathering. "I've come back feeling renewed and rejuvenated", Raffi said.
